Marthandam College of Engineering and Technology (MACET) is promoted by Marthandam Educational & Charitable Trust (MECT), Chankai, Kanjiracode (P.O.), Kanyakumari District, Tamilnadu. MECT was registered on 3rd June 2005.

Mission of the Promoting Body :

  • To establish and administrator educational institutions of excellence in Arts, Science and Technology.
  • To effectively contribute to the regional development through educational programmes for Human Resource Development in association with other educational institutions, Government and private organizations.
  • To participate and contribute in rural development activities.

Vision of the Promoting Body :

  • To be a leader in providing higher educational opportunities of national standard to the children from rural areas and thereby expose the world to them.
